Message of Appreciation and Gratitude
On the auspicious occasion of Constitution and National Day of Nepal, on behalf of the Embassy of Nepal and on my own behalf, I would like to express our sincere gratitude to all known and unknown martyrs who sacrificed their lives for the betterment of the people and the nation.
At the same time, I wish to express our deepest condolences to the families who have lost their loved ones in the current natural (Bhote Koshi-Trisuli) disasters in Nepal. We pray for eternal peace for all the departed souls and for the safe rescue and well-being of all those who remain missing.
At this difficult and deeply challenging time for Nepal, I wish to convey, on behalf of the Embassy of Nepal and on my own behalf, our deepest and most heartfelt gratitude to His Majesty the King and Her Majesty the Queen of the Kingdom of Thailand, the Royal Thai Government, and the gracious people of Thailand for their abiding compassion, steadfast solidarity, generous support, and cherished friendship towards Nepal.
The messages of sympathy, concern, goodwill, and solidarity extended to Nepal have been a great source of comfort and strength to the Nepali people. The kindness and generosity demonstrated by the Royal Family, the Government, and the people of Thailand are a profound reflection of the longstanding bonds of friendship, mutual respect, and understanding between Nepal and Thailand.
I also wish to convey my sincere appreciation to the Governments and peoples of Singapore, Viet Nam, Cambodia, and the Lao People's Democratic Republic, as well as to ESCAP and the wider international community, for their expressions of solidarity, support, and friendship towards Nepal during this difficult period.
My deepest gratitude also goes to all friends of Nepal—diplomatic and international partners, institutions, organizations, communities, the Nepali diaspora, Nepali communities, and individuals—who have reached out to Nepal and stood by the Nepali people with compassion and solidarity.
Nepal deeply cherishes the friendship and goodwill of all our partners and friends. Your support at this challenging moment has demonstrated, once again, the enduring strength of human solidarity and the importance of standing together in times of difficulty.
On behalf of the people and Government of Nepal, I extend my sincere thanks and deepest appreciation to all those who have expressed their solidarity with Nepal. Your kindness and support will remain deeply cherished and will further strengthen the bonds of friendship and cooperation between Nepal and our friends across the region and beyond.
